Australia Reverse Phone Lookup

I phoned this number as it was in safari as Apple Support
I gave my email plus DOB he tried to access my computer remotely but couldn’t. He said my Apple Mac was in a serious state everything was compromised including my bank account. I twice queried if it was apple support. After 3/4 hour I told him I wanted an appointment with the Apple Store. He yelled at me and hung up

1800 009 384 is a nasty call centre base in India that pretends to be working as or for Microsoft support team. They are fake, fake, fake. Those scums are installing malvares and viruses from popups or with bundles software as Adobe Flash. Your internet browser suddenly freeze and your all computer is frozen. Best way is to shut your computer down ( by pressing power button for 20 seconds or to make sure unplug Your computer). Fear and stress will take over with messages saying that your computer has had a virus attack. Restart with a clean browser cache and a run of a antivirus if you have one. Talk to someone if you are not reassured or still in distress. If your browser crashes non-stop, reset it to default.

Anyone one knows what to do? The person "scanned" my laptop and said he will install something but I got suspeced and disconnected. Anyone knows how this scanning will influence me?

Do not call them. Say they are Microsoft and try to get access to your pc. Popup page says you have a virus threat.

Yeah got this as well from a pop up ad. Don't call them!!!

Agree with Stephen - bogus pop up page with a red bordered screen + all the 'action req','threat detected','firewall detected potential threats' msgs to lull one into contacted bogus.

This number appears on a bogus popup page indicating you have a virus on your computer. It asks you to call the number to speak to a technician to remove the virus.
